- StylLounge designer recently landed a coveted position on a major TV/movie project, thanks to a connection made with a costume designer at a StylLounge pop-up event.
Collaboration Structures:
Standard StylLounge Process:
- Description: This traditional approach involves our team issuing specific calls to participating designers when VIP clients or their representatives request styling for upcoming events.
- Process: If your designs are selected based on client needs, they will be considered for a variety of high-profile opportunities, including red carpet events, press appearances, interviews, and more.
Collection-on-Hand Option (Highly Recommended for TIFF):
- Description: Given the dynamic, fast-paced, and often last-minute nature of TIFF events, this option allows designers to send in a curated collection (typically 5–20 distinct looks) to be kept on hand at the StylLounge hub in advance of the festival.
Benefits:
- Time & Logistics Savings: Your collection is immediately accessible for urgent requests, eliminating rush shipping or last-minute coordination challenges.
- Increased Selection Opportunities: During fittings for scheduled events, VIPs often browse available looks and may spontaneously request pieces for additional events they hadn’t initially planned.
- Proven Success: Historically, over 50% of our last-minute requests or fitting changes have resulted in new selections from collections already on hand, significantly increasing opportunities for your designs to be chosen.
- Early Visibility Advantage: The sooner your collection is on hand, the faster it can be showcased to VIPs during ongoing fitting sessions, maximizing its exposure window throughout the festival preparations.
